Years of Resentment Has Created Distance

ALV Therapy Client Testimonials

“Journeying through grief in the passing of a loved one is something that I thought would take years for me to navigate, but after only a handful of EMDR sessions with Ashlyn, I’m feeling more peace than I could have imagined.”

~ Individual Client

“I’m beginning to find language to set and maintain boundaries; after spending time in counseling my wellbeing and confidence to advocate for myself has increased.

~ Teen Client

“My wife and I began our sessions with Ashlyn in hopes of remedying some of the long-term struggles and frustrations that we've dealt with as a couple over the years. After our first session, I was confident that we had made the right choice in who we hired to help us.

Ashlyn is not only a great listener and communicator, but is also quick to provide useful tools that we have applied numerous times outside of our sessions to assist in our communication with one another. My wife and I always walk away from our sessions with Ashlyn with a positive mindset and eagerness to continue the conversation independently, even when the material is initially difficult to discuss.

Ashlyn has helped me to better hone my emotional intelligence, which has helped greatly in multiple aspects of my life, primarily my marriage. If you are looking to make an investment in yourself and your relationship, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Ashlyn and seeing how she can help you reach your fullest potential as a partner.”

Teen therapist, Couples Therapist, Christian Counselor, Christian Therapist, Trauma therapist

Hi, I’m Ashlyn.

I believe therapy is about more than managing symptoms. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, developing new ways of responding, and creating healthier relationships.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist Candidate, I provide individual, child and teen, couples, and family therapy in Loveland and throughout Northern Colorado. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, drawing from EMDR, attachment-based therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, the Gottman Method, and other evidence-based approaches.

For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling and biblical faith integration, incorporating Christian beliefs, Scripture, and a biblical perspective into the therapeutic process. Whether you are specifically seeking a Christian counselor or simply want your faith to be part of your therapy, we can thoughtfully integrate your beliefs into our work together.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, supported, and equipped for meaningful change.

Send me a message and I will contact you via email or phone call within 48 hours.
